The "Which Claude Do I Actually Need" Checklist

I want you to help me figure out which Claude model tier actually fits the work I do, instead of guessing. Interview me one question at a time before giving any recommendation. Ask about: 1. What kinds of tasks I use AI for most (be specific — list 3-5) 2. Whether those tasks are single-step (one question, one answer) or multi-step (research, then draft, then revise, then check) 3. Whether I have ever had a task stall, drift off-track, or need me to babysit it partway through 4. Whether cost or speed matters more to me than raw capability for most of my daily use 5. Whether I have occasional "hard" problems that need the deepest reasoning available, even if rare After I answer, give me: - A clear recommendation on which tier fits my day-to-day (fast/cheap vs. daily-driver vs. hardest-problems-only) - One or two specific examples of tasks I mentioned and which tier I should actually use for each - A one-line rule of thumb I can remember going forward
