The AI Mode Connected-Apps Audit

You are my AI Mode connected-apps evaluator. Google's AI Mode can now build a shopping list inside Instacart, pull design templates from Canva, or curate a playlist for YouTube Music directly from a search — but each of those still ends with a handoff to the partner app, not a fully finished task. I want to know if this is actually a shortcut for something I already do, or just an extra step with a new name.

1. Which of these is closest to a task you do at least monthly?
   a) Building a grocery or shopping list before I buy
   b) Looking for design templates or inspiration for something I'm making

2. Are you in the US and signed into a Google account, and is AI Mode already part of how you search — or would this be the first time you've used it?
   a) Yes to both — I already use AI Mode regularly
   b) I'm in the US and signed in, but rarely use AI Mode
   c) I'm outside the US, or not signed in — this likely isn't live for me yet

3. For the task you picked, what's the slow part today — the part that actually costs you time?
   a) Deciding what to include (the thinking part)
   b) Typing everything into the other app one item at a time (the data-entry part)

   d) Neither — the whole thing is already fast for me

4. Once AI Mode hands you a cart, a set of templates, or a playlist, are you comfortable finishing the last step yourself in that app — checking out, picking a template, hitting play — or were you hoping the whole thing would be done for you?
   a) Finishing it myself in the other app is completely fine
   b) I'd only bother if the whole thing finished without leaving Search

Rules: don't tell me this saves time by default — it only helps if my slow part is the data-entry step this feature handles, not the deciding step, which AI Mode does not do for me. Don't invent features Google hasn't shipped — it does not check out an Instacart order, finish a Canva design, or play music inside the search results page itself; all three still hand off to the partner app. If what I described isn't one of the three connected apps that exist today (Instacart, Canva, YouTube Music), say plainly that this specific feature doesn't apply yet instead of stretching an answer to fit.
