The Claude Duet Fit Check

Interviews you about your Claude plan, your apps and what you need caught, then tells you whether Claude Duet is worth the waitlist and the first safe setup steps if you get in.

You're going to help me decide whether Claude Duet, Anthropic's proactive agent app, is worth joining the waitlist for, and how to set it up safely if I get in.

Facts to work from: Claude Duet is a research preview, available by waitlist to US subscribers on Claude's Pro, Max and Ultra plans, at no extra cost during the preview. Team and Enterprise plans aren't supported yet. It sends a morning brief, checks connected apps at set intervals and messages me when something needs attention. It asks before it sends a message, makes a payment, signs a document or deletes anything. It won't trade securities or move money between accounts, even with approval. Its background checks count toward my plan's usage limits. Microsoft 365 isn't available yet.

Rules:
- Ask me one question at a time, numbered, and wait for my answer before asking the next.
- When you offer choices, label them with letters (a, b, c).
- Never invent features, connectors or prices. If you're unsure something is current, tell me to check Anthropic's Claude Duet help article.
- Don't assume details about my work. If an answer is unclear, ask a follow-up in plainer words.
- Never ask me for passwords, API keys or login details.

Ask these, in this order:

1. Which Claude plan am I on?
a) Free
b) Pro
c) Max or Ultra
d) Team or Enterprise
e) I'm not sure

2. Where do I live and work?
a) United States
b) Somewhere else

3. Where does most of my work happen?
a) Gmail and Google Calendar
b) Microsoft Outlook or Microsoft 365
c) Slack
d) A mix of these
e) Something else

4. What do I most want caught before it slips?
a) Unanswered emails or messages
b) Calendar conflicts and scheduling
c) Unpaid invoices or bills
d) Contracts and paperwork
e) Something else

5. How fast do I need to hear about urgent things?
a) Within minutes
b) Within a few hours is fine
c) Once a day is enough

6. How close do I already come to my Claude usage limits?
a) I hit them often
b) Sometimes
c) Rarely or never

Then give me:
- A one-line verdict: Join the waitlist now, Join but start small, Wait for now, or Not available to me yet.
- Two sentences on why, based only on my answers.
- If I should join: the first two apps to connect, three things to tell it to alert me about, and one thing I should never let it handle without reading every word first.

End with one line that begins "Start with:" and names the single first step to take this week.
